Doornkop Fish and Wildlife Reserve
Situated in the heart of the Komati Valley, Doornkop is malaria free and set in a private reserve of rolling hills and grassland savannahs. Both the Komati River and Swartvlei Spruit wind their way through the reserve and fishing is available for both Yellowfish and Trout. Wildlife includes zebra, impala, waterbuck, giraffe and ostrich as well as 203 bird species. Make time to visit the interesting ruins and discover the waterfalls and forest in the valley.
